Summer Time Tea

Our Summer Time Tea could have easily been renamed "Sweet Tea" as the tea time of fellowship and treats was sooo sweet. Those who came provided a lively, lovely eclectic mix...young and older, male and female, rich and poor. The Art Room had been transformed from its usual colorful and artsy self to a fully functioning Bohemian Tea Room right here on Stone Avenue in Greenville, SC. Our next tea will be held on Wednesday, November 17th from 11am-noon to celebrate Thanksgiving Day. Y'all come!!!!

April Art

They say that April showers bring May flowers...but in The Art Room we don't have to wait for showers to bring forth the flowers. A brush and acrylic paint is all it takes to bring forth a spring bouquet. There is always activity, always excitement and new ideas, always something is being created on the second floor at the corner of Stone and Rutherford St. We have new and returning artists venturing in to share a cup of tea, a little fellowship, and creative inspirations!!!

Resurrection Tea Party

There was standing room only for our Resurrection Tea Party held on March 31st. As you can see, a good time was had by all! Our next will be a Summer Sweet Tea Party!!

Homes of Hope Houses

These finely crafted bird houses or feeders were made by the men in Homes of Hope job training and mentoring program. They will be auctioned off as a fund raiser for Homes of Hope on Thursday, May 6th at the Embassy Suites. The Art Room has been given 8 to paint and decorate for this worthy cause. This photo shows them as they arrived in The Art Room, ready for transformation.

...and now the transformation!

What's New!!!

"Train up a child"....this little girl is receiving special attention,
safe in the arms of her mom.
Right now she is observing the artistic process
and camaraderie in The Art Room
while mom is creating a loving and lovely piece of art.
Soon, this little one will begin her own joyful creative journey.
She'll probably begin with PINK!

This young man has been helping us prepare for our first

Traveling Art Show.
He has been painting easels in wonderful colors to complement the art.
This first Traveling Art Show will begin on
April 26th at Banana Republic at Haywood Mall
and will feature many of Triune's fine artists!
One of our regulars beginning another
"hands-on" textile project.

Art Journal makers, intent in their work!
